Ambele au motor 2.5 de Audi si ambele sunt bune  :D acum depinde care iti place mai mult la design  ;D

au fost si AWD, insa la noi in tara cred ca nu vei gasi. Poate ma insel. Important e sa stii ce vrei - AWD-ul de la 850/V70 pe viscocuplaj nu a fost prea stralucit, insa la vremea aceea a fost ok.

THE FIRST EVER Volvo all-wheel-drive production car the 850 AWD arrived in the UK in July adding to a range that has helped Volvo claim over 45 per cent of the country's family estate market.

Advantages of the 850 AWD over traditional four-wheel drive vehicles include a more aerodynamic body improved fuel consumption significantly lower running costs and superior on road performance including far less body roll. Competing against car derived 4x4s such as the Subaru Legacy and Audi A6 Quattro the 850 AWD enjoys considerable advantages over these competitors. It offers better ground clearance higher engine torque from the new light pressure turbo - developed at a wider range of engine speeds providing greater engine flexibility for towing - a large load capacity and safety features such as integrated rear child seat and side impact protection airbags fitted as standard. The new 850 AWD uses an ingenious system of permanent four-wheel drive that at motorway speeds gives 95 per cent of the power to the front wheels and only 5 per cent to the rear. When more traction is needed - for instance when towing off- road, taking corners in the wet or hill starts - the power instantly and automatically transfers to the wheels with the most grip. The driver doesn't need to engage any levers or press any buttons. The five-speed gearbox is linked to a 'Viscodrive' viscous coupling which distributes the power to the front and rear axle instantaneously as required by the driving condition. The 850 AWD's new 193 bhp 2.5-litre 20-valve light pressure turbo engine offers a rapid response fast acceleration (0-62 mph in 8.5 seconds) and high top speed (137 mph). It is virtually impossible to detect when the turbo is working since there is no sudden power surge just lots of acceleration for safe overtaking and comfortable cruising. Only available as an estate with one specification level the 850 AWD's distinguishing features include front fog lights 16" Pursus wheels roof rails and an increased ride height of 14mm. Specification trim includes self levelling suspension, TRACS, air-conditioning, load net, roof rails, trip computer, leather steering wheel and metallic paint. External colours available include Black Stone, Nautic Blue, Regent Red, Dark Olive and Autumn Gold. The new 850 AWD goes on sale in July priced £27 400."

Pai pe mine m ar interesa un volvo care sa aiba un motor bun,acuma am v40 care din cate am inteles are motor de Renalt,ceea ce nu i prea bine,ma orientam spre un 850 / v70 auzind ca este mai bun ,ca pana la s60 D5 este cale lunga.Deci 850 am auzit ca sunt bune ,avea un prieten in Suedia un 850 Tdi si i a dat peste cap km..deci in jur de 1.500.000 fara prea multe interventi.Multumesc tuturor care mi au raspuns :D

Parerea mea si a inca catorva este ca au fost mult mai fiabile motoarele de Renault folosite pe s/v40 decat cele de VAG, folosite pe 850/V70/S80.

Poti spune despre motoarele VAG ca sunt mai puternice si ca se preteaza mai usor la tuning (merg duse de la ~140cp la 180cp) dar puterea asta nu vine singura...

Sau ca masinile cu motoare VAG au mai multe optiuni, aka: comp de bord, sisteme de stabilitate, 4x4, cutie automata performanta, etc; care la masinile cu motor Renault de 90 si 95cp (cum e al tau), nu erau posibile.

Oricum, la cat costa un 850/v70 cu motor de VAG, nu pierzi f mult si daca il tii macar 100k km te vei convinge singur de diferente. ;)

Adi poti te rog sa explici un pic mai bine ce vrei sa spui? eu pe vechiul 440 aveam 1.8 de la renault si aveam o groaza de probleme cu el; pe 850 motorul asta de 2.0 volvo ii impecabil (si are si de doua ori si inca ceva km in plus).

heh, eu le-am avut pe amandoua, si pot face o comparatie intre ele, masina curenta ii ca si vanduta deci nu am de ce sa ii tin partea sa zic asa. Motorul de pe 440 se oprea iarna in timpul mersului fara sa ii fac nimica spre exemplu si manca ulei daca mergeam sportiv. Motorul de 2.0 l-am avut oleaca mai putin decat celalalt dar nu am avut nici o problema cu el, si are dublu numarul de km. Ca sa fiu 'fair play' motorul asta a fost ingrijit si nici nu are instalatie de GPL pusa de romani pe el. Experienta neplacuta cu motorul de renault a ramas totusi...

ontopic despre dieselul de la audi/vw pus pe volvo 850 (cel de 2.5 parca era)  eu am auzit (de la un mecanic care lucra la repr volvo in italia) ca ii unul din cele mai bune motoare pe care le stie....

Este foarte intresant sa observ cum fiecare zice ca motoru mai bun e ala pe care il are el.  ;D

E o regula nescrisa ca motorul pe care il avem e mai bun decat ala de pe gard.  ::)

Dar in postul ala am facut referire numai la motoarele diesel, 1.9td(Renault) vs 2.5tdi (VAG). [Parerea mea si experienta mea]

Un motor "nefiabil", de 2 litri ca al tau, Matrixxx... imi doresc si eu de ceva timp.  ;D ;D ;D

hehe, acelasi motor "nefiabil" dar fara turbo il am si eu :D cat despre ce spui tu cu gardul, eu am incercat sa fiu impartial :D. Apropo ambele motoare is pe benzina... nu am experienta cu dieselurile (mai stiu ca motorul de 1.7 turbo de pe seria 400 era tare)

adi, am inteles ce ai vrut sa zici cu...fiabilitatea. La diesel-uri nu zic nimic - nu ma bag. Nu-mi place sa dau search pe internet si sa postez aici  ;)  Unde nu cunosc, imi tin mainile departe de tastatura  :D
